For our wedding, we had our catering, rental services, and wedding coordination through 1979! Yarden was amazing from start to finish. I shared my Pinterest board with her and she literally made it happen, exactly how I pictured. Yarden communicated my vision perfectly with the florist. Her and Joshua brought my vision to life with the ceremony and reception set up. Our reception was so dreamy under the Hawaii mountains and string lights. The food was AMAZING! All of our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food and drinks by 1979. Yarden was so great the day of the wedding. She has a calm demeanor, which helped ease any pre-wedding jitters. She also snapped a ton of behind the scenes wedding photos, which we appreciated so much. It’s taken me almost a month to write this review because of how many good things I’d like to share. I want to keep it short and sweet but I am extremely happy to have worked with 1979 Hawaii. Yarden really helped me with my vision (which, I have to admit, I didn’t even have one. All I had was the idea we would elope in Hawaii lol) By asking questions and providing suggestions, SHE picked my brain to ensure she was giving me the ultimate experience. Everything turned out so beautiful and what I really have to highlight is the food!!!!! Oh my gosh!! Food is always the biggest concern at any sort of party or event and I’m not gonna lie, you’re spending on food you’ve never tried before so obviously, it’s worrisome what you’ll receive or you’re anxious about the quality but whoa! I was SO HAPPY that the food and drinks tasted amazing!! I’m still waiting on my wedding photos but I cannot wait to share with friends and family all the details and I’d encourage anyone to get married in Hawaii and hire this wonderful team!

1979–THE ABSOLUTE BEST Yarden and her team went above and beyond all of our expectations for our special day! It’s particularly tough planning a wedding, and even harder during covid, but she made sure we were taken care of for EVERYTHING. She provided us with great ideas based on the aesthetic we wanted, and designed a personal and meaningful destination wedding for us. (Zoom calls and emails with her were our lifelines during the planning process) 1979 is truly a one stop shop for everything you need; bar, food, dishware rentals, tables, lights, lounge tents (we loved this), etc. Yarden was extremely flexible in helping us navigate through the uncertainties of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. And not only was she quick to reply to any question we had, she kept us excited about new suggestions throughout. Our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and can’t stop talking about their signature drinks (fresh pina coladas, welcome coconuts at the ceremony) and food! (Particularly the ahi poke and teriyaki grilled sirloin) Their service is world class and I highly recommend them without hesitation. 1979 made our wedding day perfect and for that, we will always be grateful to Yarden and her team.

Best All inclusive wedding packages in Hawaii. Where to start? 1979Hawaii is world class, the planning process went
so smooth! All I needed to do is answer Yarden’s (the wedding planner) questions (she covered it all!!!) share with her and her team my vision board, cocktails and food selection and 6 months later I have the best wedding in the whole entire world! My guests keep talking about the details, the tasty food, the servers until today almost a year later. I can’t thanks enough to Yarden and her team for brining my dreams to life, effortless with enjoyable planning process. Will recommend on 1979Hawaii for the rest of my life!

Amazing, outstanding, professional, hardworking, and FABULOUS Yarden and Joshua really means business. If you expect their A game then you have to do the same as well for them. They did so much more than catering. They helped me map out the floor, wedding agenda, great recommendations on other vendors, and so much more. On my wedding day, it was raining and I was having an outdoor wedding so it wasn’t what we expected. Yarden and Joshua and their team SAVED my wedding. Continued to shine no matter what happened. They did so much for us. I highly recommend this gorgeous catering a lot. They were literally my first choice, I didn’t want anybody else lol! Thank you again. You guys are everything!!!!!
